Tara

Nationality | Fàlian |
Age | 23 |
Height | 5'9" (176cm) |
Weight | 141lb (64kg) |
A wandering mercenary in search of someone that can help her reclaim what she has lost. As a mercenary, Tara goes by the name of Sreng but in actuality she is the last descendant of the royal house and heir to the throne of the kingdom of Fàl. Hundreds of years ago, when Fàlwas still known as Ogyjia, the first king, Nuada mac Fergus betrayed his best friend, Nemed, and killed him. With Nemed's dying breath he cursed the land and the entirety of Nuada's bloodline.
Due to this curse, the kingdom of Fàl's land becomes less fertile each year and as such the entire population has barricaded themselves in the last remaining zone of the country where the curse still hasn't been able to reach. When Tara was merely 7 years old, this curse came back to bite her in the form of a monster that attempted to end Nuada's bloodline, killing Tara's father and her 6 siblings, for some inexplicable reason it spared her, leaving her all alone and next in line for the throne.
The weight of the crown was too heavy to bear for young Tara so the Fàlian military seized control of the kingdom and appointed Gideon Finney as the ruler of the newly established government. Gideon continued the experiments initiated by Tara's father, Fergus Ua Nuada, with the goal of enhancing Tara's abilities beyond normal human limits. Poor Tara's childhood was filled with so much sadness and sorrow until a soldier helped to smuggle her out of the country.
Now, Tara journeys across the continent, seeking allies who can help her reclaim the Fàlian throne from Gideon's grasp and restore Fàl to its former glory, breaking free from the shackles of the ancient curse that has haunted her bloodline for centuries.
Skills
Tara specializes in dealing with foes who focus on one of the two main defensive stats, as she deals both Physical and Magic Damage. Using a skill enhances Tara's next attack with an echo, with the amount of echoes increasing based on the number of skills used beforehand. Use her Skill 1: Sreng’s Blessing/Bennacht Sreng to boost her next attack. Wise use of this skill further boosts its damage bonus, as it can be recast after use. If another skill is used before recasting, the damage bonus is converted into True Damage. Each time Tara's echoes damage a foe, she gains 5 Scáil stacks. Strive to accumulate as many Scáil stacks as possible to unlock the benefits of her Skill 2: Geis of The Morrigan/Geas na Morrigan. Save her Skill 2: Echo of the Dream/Guth an Aisling for critical moments, as it consumes 25 Scáil stacks. When facing formidable enemies, use her Ultimate: Twofold Piercing/Teann Dóchúil to shred through defenses, gaining 80% Armor and Magic Penetration, and healing a percentage of the damage dealt. While Tara's skills boost her Crit Rate and Atk Spd, she is not as self-sufficient as other characters. Therefore, she values supports that can increase both of these stats. Tara faces a challenge as her skills scale off both Atk and Mag, and most equipment that enhances one stat tends to decrease the other. Thus, she should focus on maximizing one and rely on a support to enhance the other. Choose her if you need a character capable of swiftly breaking through defenses and dealing significant damage. Although she may require some support, the effort to build her up pays off.
Personal Skill: Geis of the Aos Sí/Geas na Sidhe: Grants Skl+15%. Unit’s weapons are imbued with a mystical power that causes them to create echoes whenever unit attacks. Echoes deal Physical Damage equal to 10/15/20/25/30% of unit’s Atk + 50% of unit’s Mag and apply the on hit effects applied by the main attack at 25% effectiveness. Echoes deal 25/30/40/50/50% of their damage to foes near the target. Whenever an echo deals damage to a foe, unit gains 5 Scáil stacks. (Max; 100). Unit’s attacks generate 1 echo. Using a skill causes unit’s next attack to generate 2 additional echoes. (Max; 10 echoes). Echoes are considered attacks but cannot generate other echoes.
Skill 1: Sreng’s Blessing/Bennacht Sreng: Unit’s next attack within 4.5 seconds deals 15/25/35/45/55% of unit’s Atk bonus Magic Damage on hit. After 0.5 seconds, unit can recast this skill for the next 4 seconds before it goes into cooldown. If unit uses another skill before recasting this skill, 100% of this on hit damage and 35% of the damage of unit’s next attack is converted into True Damage and this bonus damage’s duration is extended for an additional 4.5 seconds. Unit’s next attack generates two additional echoes.
Skill 2:
Passive: Geis of The Morrigan/Geas na Morrigan: Unit gains effects based on the amount of Scáil stacks that unit has accumulated. If >= 20, boosts Movement Spd by 25% and Atk Spd by 15%. If >= 50, boosts attack damage by 20% and after using a skill, unit’s next attack deals 50% of unit’s Base Atk bonus Magic Damage on hit. If >= 70, unit’s attacks deal 0.5/0.65/0.75/0.85/1% of foe’s Current HP bonus Magic Damage on hit. If = 100, the on hit damage granted by this skill is converted into True Damage and grants [Ard Ri] for 20 seconds. While [Ard Ri] is active, unit cannot use this skill and this skill’s cooldown cannot be decreased through any means. This skill can be used as long as unit has 25 or more Scáil stacks.
[Ard Ri]
Boosts Crit Rate by 20% and Echo Crit Rate by an additional 15%, boosts Crit Dmg by 15%, boosts bonus Atk Spd by 100% and reduces damage dealt by 10%. Echoes do not grant Scáil stacks, instead, unit’s attacks grant 5 stacks of Scáil. Unit gains 2 stacks of Scáil every second. If an Echo critically strikes, it generates an additional echo that deals 80% reduced damage but applies on hit effects at 50% effectiveness instead. These additional echoes cannot generate echoes. Unit’s attacks will make unit’s next skill generate an additional echo. Echoes expire after 6 seconds. When the duration of this effect ends, removes all Scáil stacks and reduces the CD of all skills by 40%. Skills that say “unit’s next attack will generate x additional echoes” will instead generate x additional echoes when used. Increases the max amount of echoes by 10 and reduces their damage by 20% increased by 15% for each echo beyond the 10th.
Active: Echo of the Dream/Guth an Aisling: Consumes 25 Scáil stacks to deal Physical Damage equal to 100/135/175/215/235% of unit’s Atk + 2.5% of foe’s Current Hp. Unit’s next attack generates an additional echo.
Ultimate:
Passive: Gift from the Ancients/Bronn ó na Sean-Óga: Magic Damage dealt is increased by 20%. Echo damage is increased by 12.5/15/18/21/25% and their Crit Rate is increased by 15%.
Active: Twofold Piercing Strike/Teann Dóchúil: Unit pierces the nearest foe, dealing Physical Damage equal to 75/85/100/120/150% of unit’s Atk and Magic Damage equal to 50/75/90/100/115% of unit’s Atk. This skill gains 80% Armor and Magic Penetration and 25% Spell Vamp. Unit’s next attack or skill generates four additional echoes, 50% of their damage is converted into Magic Damage and they gain 50% Armor and Magic Penetration. Both instances of damage have a 40% chance of inflicting [Vulnerability α-3] for 9 seconds. For 6 seconds, doubles the amount of echoes generated by unit’s attacks and increases the maximum amount of echoes by 10 but reduces the damage of echoes beyond the 10th by 25% increased by 10% for each echo beyond the 10th.
[Vulnerability α-3]
Boosts damage taken from all sources by 15%. Boosts damage taken from attacks by an additional 25%.
